New Life for Stucco Villa

Set in one of Notting Hill’s premier roads this ornate Italian-style white stucco villa had the benefit of a double-width plot and a wonderful south facing garden. The owners who have lived in the property for over 30 years and use it as their London residence wished to extract the full potential of their home. 


Rather than sell on with planning for development they contacted Amari to help partner with them in their ambition to obtain the maximum for the site in terms of planning gain with a view to then having Amari oversee the search for development financing and ultimately the build.


Originally 4,000 feet square Amari increased the floor area to over 8,000 feet square. With the property being in the middle of the Notting Hill conservation area additional care was taken to respect the existing fabric and surrounding area, whilst at the same time endeavouring to extract the full potential of the villa.
