Putting Back the Style
This beautifully beautiful raised ground floor apartment had been neglected for some time before our designers breathed new life into it. The majority of the period features had been removed over the years and the layout was simply not up to our client's requirements.
We, therefore, set about completely re-configuring the plan and looked at sympathetically reinstating some classic period features. These included: decorative panel moulding, period cornice and fireplace as well as using Victorian-style bathroom suites.
The attention to detail did not stop there with a fantastic hand-made kitchen with Siemens appliances and jumbo chevron flooring bringing the rooms together.
In the bedrooms, bespoke contemporary joinery in matt lacquer and tobacco walnut interiors offset the period detailing and ensured a truly wonderful home for our client set withing the leafy Holland Park.
Our designers also chose the lighting to complement the overall design, the tiered crystal bedroom chandelier and vintage sputnik living room pendant not only look amazing but flood the rooms with light.
It was a lovely project in one of our favourite London locations and to top it all the client could not have been happier with the result.
